CHICO -- Cal State San Bernardino's men's soccer team outshot Chico State 11-9 but had nothing to show for it, suffering a 4-0 shutout Sunday at the hands of the unbeaten and 17th-ranked Wildcats in a CCAA conference match.
A crowd of 400 fans watched the Wildcats break open a close match with three second half goals to improve to 7-0 on the season and 3-0 in the CCAA. CSUSB is now 2-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the CCAA. It was the Wildcats' third straight shutout at home.

Arath De La Rocha saved three of them.
Nicholas Tedrow put Chico up 1-0 in the 40th minute of the first half on a chip shot to the far post.
Just three minutes into the second half, Evan Armstrong scored his fourth goal of the season unassisted on a loose ball from 12 yards out.
Kyle Crain scored in the 56th minute and Zac Crim made it 4-0 two minutes later on a header from a crossing pass.
The Coyotes resume play in the CCAA South Division on Friday at Cal State Dominguez Hills (the match has been moved to Friday after being originally scheduled for Thursday.
