Cal State San Bernardino, ranked No. 3 in the nation in one pre-season poll, defeated Seattle Pacific, 3-0, Thursday night in the first round of the 2007 Coyote Classic Women's Volleyball Tournament in Coussoulis Arena.
The Coyotes took advance of the No. 20 Falcons, 30-21, 30-20 and 30-20.

Jessica Granados had a match-high 13 kills and three block assists for the Coyotes while sophomore setter
Sara Hoffman had a match-high 26 assists. Junior libero
Meghan Haas had a match-high 10 digs.
Both teams demonstrated some typical pre-season rust, combining for 39 attack errors with a combined 19 serving errors. CSUSB hit just .214 for the match while SPU was limited to .146 hitting.
Alyssa Given led the Falcons with nine kills, two service aces and two solo blocks.
