Curtis Fraser was named Cal State San Bernardino's Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Brand Management in January 2024. He serves as the primary media contact for each of CSUSB's 10 varsity teams.
Fraser came to San Bernardino from Curry College in Milton, Mass., where he was the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications for two and a half years. Prior to Curry, he served as the Sports Information Director at Worcester State University.
Fraser earned his master's degree in communications from Regis College in Weston, Mass. after spending two years there as the graduate assistant for sports information.
In the summer of 2026, Fraser was named a finalist for the inaugural FloCollege CSC Spotlight Award. The award celebrates communicators and CSC staff who go above and beyond to elevate their student-athletes, athletic programs and institutions through strategic storytelling, advocacy and a commitment to excellence.
When not at Cal State San Bernardino, you can often find Fraser at a ballpark. He works part-time for Major League Baseball as an official scorer, and has proudly visited 20 Major League parks, many of which with his wife and favorite travel partner Tori.
Before coming to the West Coast, Fraser did per diem statistics work with the basketball and men's ice hockey teams at Boston University from 2021 to 2023. As part of his duties with BU, he served as the official scorer of the 2023 Men's Beanpot Tournament.
A native of Hopkinton, N.H., Fraser graduated from Emmanuel College with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2016. He spent four years on the Saints men’s golf team, and represented his team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
