Biography
As a junior in 2011: Sustained a broken arm in early September and came back for another stellar season... Played in 12 games -- all starts -- and finished wiht four goals, six assists for 14 points... Drilled two penalty kicks late in the game against Humboldt State as Coyotes went on to earn a 2-1 win... Added goals against Cal State L.A. (win) and Cal State East Bay... Her play made a difference in the Coyotes' season as they were 9-1-2 in her 12 games... She had totaled 43 shots and 21 SOG... Earned honorable mention All-CCAA.
As a sophomore in 2010: Enjoyed a breakout year for the Coyotes at forward after sitting out two seasons… Led the Coyotes in goals (15), assists (6), points (36), shots (65), SOG (34) and game-winning goals (three)… Earned second-team Daktronics West Region honors, as selected by the West Region sports information directors… Named second-team All-CCAA… Tied for 2nd goals and tied for 4th points in the CCAA… Scored season-best three goals in the 5-0 home win over CSU Monterey Bay (10/10/10)… Had three other multiple-goal games (Against Sonoma State, Cal Poly Pomona and season-finale at CSU Dominguez Hills… Scored in 14 of the team’s 18 games… Held scoreless four times, occurring in CSUSB’s four shutout losses… Earned the school’s female Pup of the Year award, given to the best debut season by a Coyote.
At Hawaii-Hilo: Played her freshman season at Hawaii-Hilo (2007) for current CSUSB coach Travis Clarke… Finished second on the squad in goals (six) and points (15)… Played in 15 games with 12 starts and had two game-winning goals, including in the 95th minute of play against Hawaii Pacific (1-0 -- 9/22/07) for team’s first win of the year … Scored three goals in 13-0 win over Mills College.
At Lompoc HS: A 2007 graduate… Two-time team captain… Earned all-league honors four years including first-team as a junior and senior… League MVP her final two seasons… Helped team win league title in 2007… Played club ball for the Madrid Premier team.
Personal: Daughter of Roman and Marth Carmona… Father played professional soccer in Mexico… Interested in playing professionally after graduation.
