    2008-09: Gaston is sitting out the season as a redshirt.
    2007-08:  Gaston appeared in 30 games, starting nine times. He averaged 5.0 points per game with 26 steals and 24 assists. Gaston hit 26 three-pointers (34 percent).
    BEFORE CAL STATE: Gaston played two years of basketball at Los Angeles Southwest Community College. He averaged 14 points a game in his sophomore year. 

HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2004 graduate of Centennial High School in Corona where he played one season of basketball. 

PERSONAL: Gaston is a sociology major with a career goal of playing professional basketball. He hopes to obtain a master's degree and coach in the future as well. He enjoys drawing and reading in his spare time. His parents are Steve and Lisa Gaston. He has three siblings. 

FAVORITES: Fast food – Subway; Treat – Butterfingers; TV program – Fresh Prince of Bel Air; Meal – chicken with macaroni and cheese. 

MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT – Hitting game-winning free throws with two seconds left.
