    BEFORE CAL STATE: Williams attended and played basketball at  St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. He played sparingly in 2007-08, averaging just 5.5 minutes a game for the Gaels. In 2006-07, he played in 26 games as a defensive specialist with a career-high six rebounds against Murray State. In 2005-06 he played at Fresno City College, averaging 8.1  points, 5.5 rebounds for a team that advanced to the state JC semifinals. 
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2004 graduate of Marcos De Niza High School in Tempe, Ariz. where he played four years of basketball, earning first-team all-state honors and was named to two all-America teams.
    PERSONAL: Williams is a communications major who would like to pursue a second degree in architecture and own his own business. He enjoys snowboarding, surfing, art and sports in general. He has volunteered with the Mark West camp (2000-08) and was a Lifetime fitness instructor from 2005-07. His parents are Dave and Karen Williams.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT: Making a half-court shot against our rival high school -- Corona Del Sol.
