As a junior: Appeared in one game (12-1 loss to Cal Baptist Feb. 22), but did not register an out (allowed one walk and a single) in 2013.

At Gavilan College: Transferred in 2011 after San Jose City dropped its program… Led team in relief appearances… Attended Sacramento State (2011-12), but did not play baseball.

At San Jose City College: Helped team to state junior college super regionals in 2010… Was a left-handed relief specialist.

At Santa Cruz HS: Lettered four seasons for the Cardinals and coach Bob Kittle… Earned all-conference honors as a senior with 50 innings and a 1.95 ERA.

Personal: Son of Gene and Gina Navaroli… Communications major, who would like to become a collegiate athletic counselor… An avid musician, who has played the saxophone for the last 10 years… Says In-N-Out is his favorite fast food outlet… Never gets tired of watching “Happy Gilmore.”… Says throwing four no-hit innings against national prep power Jesuit HS is his most memorable sports moment.
