2015: Led team in victories with five … Went 5-2 in 21 appearances, all out of the bullpen … Led team in ERA (2.59) … Had 31 strikeouts and nine walks in 31.1 innings … Ranks 10^th in career victories with 10 … Finished career with 101 strikeouts in 145.2 innings.

2014: Appeared in 14 games with six starts ... Earned a 2-4 record with 7.33 ERA ... In 50.1 innings, struck out 27 with 16 walks ... Best offering of the season was his 7-inning effort against Chico State ... Held the Wildcats scoreless with two strikeouts and did offer a walk in a 4-0 win ... Named CCAA Pitcher of the Week for his efforts.

2013: Appeared in 12 games – all starts – for the Coyotes… Earned a 3-6 record with a 6.11 ERA in 63.1 innings… Innings pitched were second highest on the club… Had excellent strikeouts (41) to walks (19) ratio… Allowed 75 hits and 45 runs – 43 earned… Earned a 5-3 victory over Cal Baptist (threw 5 innings, gave up just two hits with six strikeouts and did not issue a walk)… Had 5 K’s against Bethesda Christian.

2012: Made just one appearance for the Coyotes... Was 0-1 in 0.2 innings pitched... Struck out two and allowed two hits.

At Cajon HS: Two-year letter winner at HS campus located across the street from CSUSB… Helped team to 33 wins during his two years with the Cowboys.

Personal:  Son of Elva Esmerio… Criminal justice major… Would like to become a California Highway Patrol officer upon graduation… Calls himself an avid fisherman.
