At Citrus College: Played his freshman and sophomore seasons (2011-12) … Hit .317 as a freshman and earned all-league honors … As a sophomore, had two home runs.
 
At St. Paul HS: A four-year letter winner for the Swordsmen … Helped team reach CIFs all four seasons including CIF finalist his sophomore year … As a senior, helped his team to the CIF quarters … Hit .442 with three HRs and named all league, team MVP and all area… As a junior, hit .400 and earned all league and named team MVP.
