    2007: Watson saw action in 38 games, starting 34 times in the outfield. He batted .260 with 11 doubles, two home runs and 18 runs batted in and 24 runs scored. In the field had four errors in 70 chances for a .943 fielding percentage.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: He played shortstop for two seasons at Solano College in Northern California, earning all-conference honors. He batted .377 his sophomore year.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2003 graduate of Sandpoint (Idaho) High School, earning the "gold glove" award twice. He played two seasons of football and wrestled for four seasons and placed in the state tournament twice and earned team MVP honors.
    PERSONAL: Watson is a graphic design major who is interested in getting his master's degree and/or a teaching credential after graduation. His hobbies are snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, drawing and fishing. His parents are Ruth and Jesse Watson.
