2014: Appeared in 13 games with six starts for the Coyotes ... Went 2-3 with 5.73 ERA ... Struck out 14 with 20 base on balls ... Threw two innings of relief and earned victory over Cal Poly Pomona ... Earned the victory in season finale at UCSD, throwing one inning.

At Coronado HS: Played all four seasons for the Islanders … Helped team to a 2010 CIF title … A two-time first-team All-CIF selection (sophomore and junior seasons) … Played golf his senior season and averaged 36.26 and named team MVP and first-team all league.
 
Personal: Son of Scott and Lisa Meloche … Majoring in business … Father played baseball at the U.S. Naval Academy … Says watching Baseball Tonight on ESPN and listening to the Rolling Stones rank as his favorites … Enjoys his history classes … Steak and potatoes dinner is his favorite meal.
