At Surprise Valley HS: A 2001 graduate…Lettered in three sports -- basketball, track and soccer… Team’s MVP as a senior… Named first-team all-league in basketball…Honored as school's athlete of the year.
Personal: Son of Lorey Carpenter…A Criminal Justice major… Spent four years in the U.S. Army and served in Iraq where he was a communications specialist… Woule like to become a California Highway Patrol officer… . Enjoys fishing, hunting, working out and playing other sports… Says scoring 56 points as a senior against Dunsmire HS is his most memorable sports moment… His athletic idol is current Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge.
