As a junior in 2011-12: Appeared in all 26 games with 21 starts for the Coyotes... Gained a reputation as one of the best big men in Division II... Explosive vertical game and especially difficult to handle within 10 feet of the basket... Named first-team All-CCAA and a second-team Daktronics All-West Region selection... Averaged 10.6 points and CCAA-leading 7.9 rebounds a game... Earned five double-doubles... Scored in double figures 14 times and had double-digit rebound games nine times... Scored season-high 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting with 13 rebounds against Sonoma State (1/21/12)... Earned national notoriety with incredible throw-down dunk over an opponent against Cal State Stanislaus... Play was taped on youtube.com and was the 2nd-best play on ESPN's Top 10 Plays of the Day on Valentine's Day... Shot 56.2 percent FGs (104-185)... As a sophomore in 2010-11: Played in 23 games with two starts... Solid first season with the Coyotes... Led the CCAA in FG percentage (.608 -- 79-130)... Ranked 9th in rebounds (6 rpg)... Ranked 7th in blocked shots (1/game)... Averaged 9.8 points a contest... Scored in double figures in 12 games... Had two double-doubles (14 points/10 rebounds) at Cal State East Bay (1/22/11) and 17 points/14 rebounds vs. defending NCAA champion Cal Poly Pomona (2/22/11)... Named CCAA Player of the Week (Feb. 21-27)... Honored for his 15.3 points and 7 rebound average in wins over CPP, CSUEB and UCSD... Hit all 7 shots in the CSUEB game, second-best FG effort in the CCAA... Scored season-best 23 points against CSU Monterey Bay.

At Irvine Valley College: Averaged 9.5 points and 8 rebounds a contest in 2008-09... Fired 61.6 percent FGs (106-172) in 30 games and earned second-team all-league honors.

At Rancho Verde HS: Named first-team all-league while leading his team to a 23-6 record as a senior... Team went 22-7 as a junior and won the league title.

Personal: Son of Kwame and Olufemi Alexander... Sociology major... Father has sung the National Anthem at selected Coyotes games.
