As a Sophomore in 2010: Appeared in 31 with 27 starts (26 in left field and one in right)… Hit .300 (30-for-100) with eight HRs and 25 RBI… Had six doubles with 26 runs scored… Hit team-high .667 against left-handers… Five-game hitting streak was season-best… Had six 2-hit games and three 3-hit games… Big game of the year took place against Cal Poly Pomona on April 10… Went 2-for-3 with two HRs and and career-high 5 RBI in 11-7 win. Hit a solo homer in the 5th and next at-bat a 3-run HR in the 7th.

At Grossmont College: Played one season, helping the Griffins to a 27-13 record, 18-7 in the Pacific Coast Conference… Hit .352 in 40 games with nine home runs, 55 RBI, 11 doubles, three triples and a .629 slugging percentage… On-base percentage was .448.

At Helix HS: Played four years of baseball for former CSUSB baseball player Cole Holland.

Personal: Son of Gary and Laurie Hulbert… Kinesiology major, who enjoys fishing… One season, three of his first four home runs were grand slams and his most memorable sports moment… Says 2010 American League MVP Josh Hamilton is his sports idol… Enjoys following his hometown Padres… ESPN SportsCenter is his favorite TV program.
