Biography

2009: Joining the team for the spring quarter, Schile made four appearances, three of them as a starter. He posted a 1-2 record and a 4.91 earned run average in 18 innings with one complete game. In his final start, he pitched a complete game 5-1 win over San Francisco State scattering seven hits.
     
BEFORE CAL STATE: Schile was the Foothill Conference "most valuable pitcher" his sophomore season at Chaffey College.
    
HIGH SCHOOL: He played four years of baseball for Coach Frank Martinez at A.B. Miller High School, earning all-Citrus Belt League first-team honors.
    
PERSONAL: Schile is a kinesiology major with plans to teach physical education and coach after graduation. He likes to play golf, softball, FIFA 10 video game and enjoy time with friends. His community service includes mentoring children at Belvedere Elementary School in San Bernardino. His parents are Ray and Cindy Schile. He has three siblings.
