    BEFORE CAL STATE: Richardson redshirted at University of  West Florida and played two seasons of basketball at Pierce College in Los Angeles. She was the Western States Conference North Division MVP last season, averaging 13.6 points a game with a single-game high of 29 points for a team that went 23-10.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She is a 2006 graduate of University High School in Palm Harbor, Fla., where she played two years of basketball and competed in track and field for two seasons. She was team MVP, all-state and a nominee for McDonald's all-America honors in basketball. She served as captain and was an all-state pick in track and field.
    PERSONAL: Richardson, nickhamed "Lucky", is a health science major with a career goal of being a firefighter. She enjoys skateboarding, writing and taking random walks. She was a volunteer at the Boys & Girl's Club of the Suncoast in Florida. Her mother is Jacqueline Richardson.
