Biography
2006-07: Williams, as a junior, played in all 32 games for the Coyotes as they posted a 26-6 record and advanced to the NCAA Final Four after winning the West Region title. He averaged 5.6 points a game and 2.5 rebounds a game with eight blocked shots. He shot 53 percent from the field. He scored a season-high 16 points against Humboldt State and collected a season-high seven rebounds against Chico State. He averaged 12 minutes per game.
BEFORE CAL STATE: Williams playe done year of basketball at City College of San Francisco and one year at Contra Costa College where he was an all-Bay Conference selection, averaging 17.6 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks per game.
HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2000 graduate of International Studies Academy in San Francisco, playing two years of basketball and earning team MVP and league player of the year honors.
PERSONAL: Williams is a sociology major who wants to play pro basketball and "make it better for kids to grow up in this world." Away from the court, he enjoys drawing, pool and video games. His parents are Willie and Linda Williams. He has one sibling.
