2009-10: Appeared in 27 games as a junior… Averaged 2.6 points in 7.2 minutes per game… Scored season-best nine points (three 3-pointers) in season-most 20 minutes in the win over Cal State East Bay (12/5/09)… Twenty of his 24 FGs were 3-pointers.
2008-09: As a sophomore, appeared in 24 games and started once… Averaged 3.0 points per game and shot 42 percent from the 3-point line (21 of 53)…Scored career-high 21 points against Alaska Fairbanks.
2007-08: Appeared in 16 games and averaged seven minutes per game… Averaged 2.7 points/game… Sank 16 of 38 field goals (42 percent) and 37 percent of his three-pointers (10 for 27).
2006-07: Redshirt.
At Beaumont HS: Played four years of basketball, graduating in 2006…Named all-league player and an all-Riverside County scholar-athlete in basketball…An all-league selection while playing three years of football.
Personal: Son of Shawn and Lauren Kinney… Finance major… Enjoys fishing, watching movies, and listening to music…Has volunteered with youth basketball camps, the CSUSB DisAbilities Festival and Read Across America…Says winning the 2009 and 2010 CCAA Tourneys are his most memorable sports moments… Says Kobe Bryant is his athletic idol… Enjoys watching the Lakers.
