    BEFORE CAL STATE: Hoban played two seasons at Hope International University in Fullerton. She was named freshman of the year and best defensive player as a sophomore.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She played four years of softball for legendary coach Dick Bruich at Kaiser High School in Fontana. She was first-team all-Sunkist League once and second-team all-league twice. She also played one season of volleyball.
    PERSONAL: A kinesiology major, Hoban wants to be an athletic trainer and coach after graduation. She enjoys sewing, bowling and dancing. Her parents are Nick and Maria Hoban. She has one sibling.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT -- My first-ever home run was a grand slam.
