    BEFORE CAL STATE: Stix played two seasons at Antelope Valley College, earning all-Foothill Conference first-team honors in 2007 and honorable mention in 2006.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She is a 2005 graduate of Quartz Hill High School where she earned all-CIF Southern Section honors in 2005. She played four years of softball.
    PERSONAL: Stix is a business major with plans to leave Cal State with a well-rounded education that will help her attain her career goals. Away from softball, she enjoys the outdoors, snowboarding, going to the beach and being with family. Her parents are Melanie and Dale Stix. She has three siblings.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT -- Winning the 2005 Women's Big League World Series, going to the state championship tournament and finishing third with Antelope Valley College in 2007.
    WHY I CHOSE CSUSB -- It was close to home and provided an athletic opportunity.
