    2008: This was a challenging season for Hart who showed early promise on the mound with a 1-0 record after two starts and a 1.29 earned run average in seven innings of pitching. He batted .294 with five hits in 17 plate appearances. However, his season came crashing to an end when he slammed into the left field wall chasing a drive while playing left field. He suffered a ruptured spleen, was hospitalized and his season was over. He was subsequently granted another year of eligibility.
    2007: Hart was comfortable playing first base, hitting and pitching for the Coyotes. He batted .337 in 39 games with five doubles and 11 runs batted in. He had 31 hits in 92 at bats and scored 17 runs. In the field, he had only two errors in 268 chances for a sparkling .993 fielding percentage. He made six appearances as a pitcher, all in relief, striking out five batters in six innings of work.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: He attended University of Nevada, Reno, for one year and played baseball at Solano College whree he was a first-team all-conference selection as a pitcher.
    HIGH SCHOOL: Hart is a 2003 graduate of Bear River High School in Grass Valley, CA. He played four seasons of baseball and was first-team all-league and MVP. In football, he played two seasons, earning first-team all-league and was an NorCal Optimist All-Star game selection and earned the most valuable receiver award. He played one season of basketball.
    PERSONAL: He is pursuing a double major in marketing and sports and entertainment marketing with a goal of not only playing professionally but enjoying a career in the sports industry. Hart has been a volunteer for the CSUSB's Disability Sports Festival. Away from baseball, Hart enjoys music, fantasy sports, training; anything outdoors. His parents are Ron and Jo Hart. He has one sibling.
