    BEFORE CAL STATE: DeHughes layed two years of junior college basketball -- one year at Compton and one year at Fullerton JC. He averaged 12 points and six rebounds a game for Fullerton as they won the Orange Empire Conference title and advanced to the state JC title game with a 28-6 record. He was first-team all OEC.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2006 graduate of David Starr Jordan High School in Los Angeles where he played four years of basketball, earning MVP honors.
    PERSONAL: DeHughes is a kinesiology major. In his spare time, he enjoys logging onto Myspace and Facebook. His mother is Peggie Dawson.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT: When I scored 28 points against Glendale College.
