    2008: Bernardy came out for cross country but did not compete in any meets.
    HIGH SCHOOL:  Bernardy is a 2008 graduate of Redlands East Valley High School where she played four years of basketball, earning the coach's award and team MVP honors in 2006-07. She was a scholar-athlete. She ran one season of cross country for former CSUSB runner and REV Coach Andrea Johnson.
    PERSONAL: She is a mathematics major who would like to become an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and fly in the military. She enjoys reading, doing puzzles, shopping for antiques, playing sports , gardening and running. She has sewn blankets for Santa Claus Inc., made valentines for veterans and volunteered at the Salvation Army. Her parents are Christopher and Kay Bernardy. She has three siblings.
