Biography
2008: Lyons had a breakout season in goal for the Coyotes, starting 14 matches. The Coyotes were 6-3-4 with her in th net. She had only 11 goals scored on her in 14 matches (0.75 goals against average). She made 55 saves and posted five shutouts with a save percentage of .846. She received the team's "most improved" award.
2007: Lyons saw action in goal in three matches for a total of 245 minutes. She yielded two goals for a 0.73 goals against average and made nine saves for a .818 save percentage. Her record was 1-1-1.
2006: She played in 14 matches totaling 1,131 minutes with 64 saves and a save percentage of .711.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lyons played four years of soccer at Apple Valley High School, graduating in 2005. She was first-team all-league twice and the league's defensive MVP her senior season. She played for the Apple Valley Storm club team and was a participant in the Cal South Olympic Development program.
PERSONAL: She is pursuing a dual major in graphic design and psychology. Her career goal is to be a family therapist. She has volunteered her time at elementary schools. Her parents are Patrick Lyons and Jeannette Montano. She has four siblings.
