     2008: Medina joined the club in the spring and made two relief appearances, giving up three hits and two runs.
       BEFORE CAL STATE: Medina played one season of football at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He was a four-year, three-sport letter winner at San Jacinto High School, graduating in 2004. Medina played four years of basketball, earning all-league first-team honors three times and all-CIF twice. In football he was twice the league's offensive MVP and was an all-CIF quarterback. In baseball, he was a two-time all-league first-team pick and two-time league defensive MVP and earned all-CIF honors three times.
    PERSONAL: Medina is a kinesiology major who would like to play professional baseball and coach at the community collegiate level after graduation. His hobby is golf. His parents are Ernie and Maria Medina.
