Biography

    BEFORE CAL STATE: Calderon played two years of softball at Pasadena City College where she was an all-South Coast Conference and first-team all-Southern California player in 2006, batting .429 with 10 doubled, three homers and 17 RBI for a team that went 31-13. She batted .240 in 36 games in 2005.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She played four years of softball and two years of soccer at Monrovia High School, graduating in 2004. She was an all-Rio Hondo League selection and first-team all-area as well as earning team offensive and defensive MVP honors. She also played tennis for two years.
    PERSONAL: Calderon is majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science. Her goal after graduation is to work with athletic teams as a trainer. Her mother is Rosie Martinez.
