Biography
HIGH SCHOOL: Sanchez was a three-sport letter winner at Ayala High School where she played four years of soccer and cross country and two years of track and field. In soccer, she was a key player on the school’s league champion team, earning all-league honors twice and was team MVP as a sophomore.
PERSONAL: She has not decided on a major. Her goal is to be a starter on the team as a freshman. She enjoys running and writing in her spare time. She is a volunteer at her church and does babysitting in her community. Her parents are Manny and Judy Sanchez. She has three siblings.
FAVORITES: Fast food – In-N-Out; Treat – chips; Movie – “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”; Music – The Fray; Meal – tacos or burritos; Class – English.
MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT – Scoring winning goal in the Sweet Six” League Cup for my club.
MOST EMBARRASSING SPORTS MOMENT – Missing the ball when I kicked and falling on my butt.
