Biography
2006: Lyons played 14 matches in goal, totaling 1131 minutes with 64 saves and a save percentage of .711.
2005: Lyons sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lyons played four years of soccer at Apple Valley High School for Coach Gwen Gollmeyer. She earned first-team all-league twice and was the league defensive MVP her senior season. Her 2003-04 team advanced to the CIF Southern Section semifinals. She participated in the Apple Valley Storm club team as well as the Cal South Olympic Development Program.
PERSONAL: She is a graphic design major with plans to be a graphic designer after graduation. Away from soccer she enjoys art, camping and traveling. She has been a teacher’s aide at Yucca Loma Elementary School in her hometown. She has four siblings. Her parents are Patrick Lyons and Jeannette Gonzalez.
