    2007: Jacob made eight appearances in the circle, starting four times with two complete games to her credit. She pitched a total of 24 innings and posted a 3-2 record.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: She pitched for two seasons at San Jose City College, earning first-team all-conference honors with a 21-8 record in 2006. She struck out 192 batters and was the team MVP. In 2005, she was first-team, all-conference and struck out 226 batters to lead the state in that category. She was a second-team all-state selection.
    HIGH SCHOOL: She played softball  for three seasons at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, near San Jose, graduating in 2004.
    PERSONAL: A liberal studies major, Jacob's goal is to be a teacher after graduation. She enjoys shopping, watching movies and hanging out with friends. Her father is Jerry Jacob.
