Biography

    2007:  Wilson was the No. 2 starter on the Coyotes team with a 3-2 record and a 3.96 earned run average. He made 11 appearances, eight as a starter with three complete games, most on the staff. In 52 innings, Wilson struck out 33. He also made one save in relief.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: He pitched for Palomar College for two seasons, earning all-conference honorable mention.
    HIGH SCHOOL: Wilson is a 2004 graduate of Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego where he played four years of baseball.
He was named to the Union-Tribune all-academic team and was the league's most valuable pitcher as well as the team MVP.
    PERSONAL: He is a kinesiology major who would like a shot at professional baseball before concentrating on a career as a physical therapist or athletic team trainer. His hobbies are music, movies, going to the beach and swimming. He has coached and umpired Little League and volunteered at baseball camps and at his church. His mother is Teri Denhart.
