    2007:  Minich appared in 16 games as a pitcher with one start. He had a 4-1 record. In 19 innings, Minich struck out 14 batters and recorded one save.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: He played two seasons at Southwestern Community College where he posted the lowest earned run average on the pitching staff and was an all-Pacific Coast Conference honorable mention.
    HIGH SCHOOL: Minich is a 2003 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley, near San Diego. He played four years of baseball and earned second-team all-league honors twice. He also played two seasons of football.
    PERSONAL: He is a public relations major who wants a shot at professional baseball and then work in the public relations field associated with professional sports. Away from baseball, Minich enjoys going to the beach and being with friends. His parents are Ward Minich III and Debbie DuPree.
