    2007: Badilla batted .308 for the Coyotes as a reserve outfielder and catcher. He played in 24 games and started eight. He produced seven RBI on 12 hits in 39 at bats. He had one error in 15 chances in the field for a .933 fielding percentage.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: He played two seasons of baseball at Clackamas College near Portland, Ore., earning all-academic team honors as well as all-conference honorable mention.
    HIGH SCHOOL: Badilla is a 1999 graduate of Ventura High School where he played four years of baseball, earning defensive player of the year honors and honorable mention all-league. He played three years of football and  was a player of the week honoree.
    PERSONAL: He is a business major with an emphasis in marketing with plans to work in sales and become a manager. He is also interested in coaching baseball. He has volunteered his time with Boys & Girls Club of Ventura and is currently a member of the CSUSB Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). He enjoys paintball, camping, video games and watching movies. His mother is Constance Badilla. He is married to Diana Badilla.
