As a freshman in 2012: Appeared in 37 games with 17 starts for the Coyotes... Hit .250 (12-for-48) with one double and three RBI... Had two multi-hit games, with two hits against Humboldt State (3/23) and against Western Oregon (3/31)  in Turlock... Had 16 starts in right field and team went 8-8 in those starts.

At Rocklin HS: Four-year letter winner in softball… Three-year letter winner in tennis… Named all-league 1^st-team her senior season… Named team’s MVP… A one-time second-team all-league selection in tennis.

Personal: Daughter of Gordon and Nancy Nakagawa… Liberal studies major… Enjoys cooking… Would like to become an elementary educator… Her favorite movie is The Blindside and says she enjoys checking out everything that L.A. has to offer… Credits her father for teaching her the game of softball and credits her mother as her role model.… Favorite athlete is Caitlin Lowe.
