Biography

    BEFORE CAL STATE: Klug had a breakout season in 2006 for Cal State Dominguez Hills. He earned second-team all-American honors and was the NCAA West Region and the CCAA conference player of the year. He batted .405 with 11 home runs, 17 doubles, 56 runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .659. His on-basse percentage was 46. An excellent fielder, he had a .991 fielding percentage at first base for the Toros, making only four errors in 445 chances. He was an all-Foothill Conference selection while playing for San Bernardino Valley College prior to joining the Toros.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2003 graduate of Moreno Valley HS where he played four years of basball, earning first-team all-league honors. He also played football three seasons, also earning first-team all-league honors.
    PERSONAL: Klug is a kinesiology major. He enjoys watching movies and playing video games in his spare time. He has volunteered at local baseball camps. His parents are Brenda and Joe DeArmond and Jeff Klug.
