    2007: Valenzuela batted .318 in 51 games with two home runs and 34 runs batted in, second on the team. He had 13 doubles and scored 26 runs. At third base he handled 152 chances with 12 errors for a .921 fielding percentage.
    2006: An injury in the first game of the season forced him to miss the rest of the season.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: Valenzuela played two years at Riverside Community College.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He was an all-league, first-team selection and two-time defensive player of the year at Riverside Poly HS, graduating in 2003.
    PERSONAL: Valenzuela is a kinesiology major whose career goal is to be a head coach at a NCAA Div. I school. He has volunteered his time at baseball clinics and at a Family Fun Festival. His parents are Tim and Cheryl Valenzuela.
