TURLOCK, Calif. - The #20 California State University San Bernardino baseball team took the final game of its four-game CCAA series against Stanislaus State on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Warriors 18-11 on the road.
With the win, the Coyotes improve to 10-4Â overall and 2-2 in the CCAA.Â
A bases-loaded walk from senior
Wyatt Hall (Port Angeles, Wash.) in the top of the second gave the visitors a 1-0 lead, but Stanislaus scored the next six runs to take a commanding 6-1 lead at the end of three of innings.

Jacob Mejia (Palm Desert, Calif.) each drew bases loaded walks to open the scoring in the inning, before junior
Dom Dominguez (Victorville, Calif.) belted a grand slam over the fence in right center to put the Coyotes up 7-6.
The Yotes stretched their lead with seven more runs in the top of the fifth to go up 14-6. Mejia delivered the big blow in the inning with a three-run homer, while Ruiz and junior
Benji Solano (Chula Vista, Calif.) each delivered two-run singles.

Jeremy Giesegh (Upland, Calif.) each recorded RBIs without the ball leaving the infield in the top of the sixth to stretch CSUSB's lead to 16-7.

Tank Rodriguez (Fontana, Calif.) in the top of the ninth provided some insurance and helped the Coyotes claim yet another high-scoring early-season win.
Dominguez had a huge game for CSUSB, going 3-for-6 with five runs batted in and two runs scored, while Mejia went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, four runs, and three walks. Giesegh also had three hits, while Rodriguez, Ruiz, and Solano all had a pair of hits.
Junior
Kyle Larsen (Hoquiam, Wash.) got the win for CSUSB, throwing 4.2 innings pitched in relief, allowing two earned runs on four hits with one strikeout.
The Coyotes will return home to start a four-game series with San Francisco State on Friday at Fiscalini Field. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m.
