INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The West Region Champion California State University San Bernardino men's basketball team has drawn the six-seed in the Elite Eight, and will face Gannon University in the National Quarterfinal on Tuesday, March 26.

The Yotes reached the Elite Eight by defeating Azusa Pacific University on Monday night at Cal State LA's University Gym. It marks CSUSB's second consecutive West Region Championship.

Gannon, located in Erie, Pa., received the three-seed in the Elite Eight, and enters as the nation's top scoring offense, averaging 101.4 points per game. The Golden Knights have won 20 consecutive games, and have an overall record of 32-2 on the season. 

The Golden Knights won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, and rallied from 16 points down to win the Atlantic Regional Championship over the University of Charleston on a buzzer beater.
