st win of the season to improve to 16-2 in conference play.

The Yotes only lead for 40 seconds of the game – the first 20 and the last 20 – but it was enough to come away with the win. After trailing as much as 13 points in the second half, CSUSB was able to mount a comeback in the final 10 minutes of the game. Down by two with 21 seconds left in the game,
Brandon Knapper inbounded the ball to

Â
Dontrell Shuler led the Yotes with a season-high 30 points, the first time the junior has reached that mark in his CSUSB career.
Darius Mickens was one rebound short of a double-double, scoring 24 points with nine rebounds in the game. Davis was also a key contributor, making that crucial layup with 19 points and six rebounds.
Â
"Really proud of our guy's toughness tonight, they showed a ton of resilience and really stuck together when it looked like we were down and out. They never panicked, stayed focused on the goal, and made it happen. Games like these are necessary when building a team culture and it was awesome to see it on display tonight." – Head Coach Andy Newman
