SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The No. 6 Yotes traveled to San Francisco State to take on the Gators in their closing week of CCAA competition. CSUSB controlled the game as they downed the San Francisco State, 91-75.
CSUSB shot 51.5 percent in field goals, hitting 17 of 33 shots taken. The Yotes more than doubled in rebounds against the Gators, collecting 27 rebounds against San Francisco States 13 rebounds on the game. CSUSB scored 50 points from the paint, more than half of their total score. The Yotes recovered for 25 second chance points and moved the ball for six assists on the game.
Leading all players in scoring was
Daytone Jennings who collected 29 points and had nine rebounds and one assist.
Darius Lubom added 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Lubom hit two of the three shots beyond the arch for a three-point percentage of .66 on the game.
Brandon Knapper scored 13 points and had three rebounds and three assists on the game.
Kaijae Yee-Stephens was the last Yote in double digits as he added 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
CSUSB is scheduled to play their CCAA season closer on Saturday, February 26
