CHICO – The Yotes kept the Wildcats scoreless in the second half but could not overcome the 2-1 lead by Chico State. It was the first half that would prove difficult for CSUSB. The Wildcats hit their first goal in the first minute of the game. Not long after in the 22
nd minute Chico State would hit another, taking the score to 2-0 into the half.
The Yotes would hold the Wildcats for the entire second half. The defensive end of
Danielle Landrum,
Rebekka Bogan,
Rebeca Cruz, and
McKenzie Cooper would not allow Chico State to score another goal.
Nathaly Losada Lucumi would put the Yotes on the board hitting a shot in the 53
rd minute, assisted by
Vidalia Abarca.

Carly Luna would finish the match with seven saves. CSUSB would take 11 shots on the game with six of them shots on goal. Chico State's first half would be enough to take the win, 2-1.
