SAN BERNARDINO – The CSUSB Coyotes won their second-straight game on Saturday afternoon, downing San Francisco State 84-58.
The Yotes controlled the game from start to finish, outscoring the Gators in every quarter as they built their lead.
Ashlynn Sharp and
Tehya Burroughs each scored 20 points as the Yotes shot 50 percent from the field.
Emily Herring added 14 and the Yotes dominated the glass, 43-27, outscoring SFSU in the paint, 40-20. Herring had 10 boards and
Kayla Bibb had nine as CSUSB scored 15 second-chance points off 14 offensive boards.
"I am very proud of the all-around team effort today," head coach
Casandra Renno said. "They keep playing like a team and it is showing."
