SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes fell in a pair of games at Fiscalini Field against CSU Monterey Bay on Saturday, 2-7 and 5-7.

In game one, the Yotes led 2-1 after one as Richard Castro singled home a run and Kyle Csakan beat out a double play to plate another.  The Otters took it from there though and CSUSB was never really able to get to the CSUMB starter.  Christian Vargas doubled and Jeff Kross threw three and two-third innings of one-hit ball out of the bullpen.

In game two, the Yotes jumped ahead 2-0 in the second inning on a double from AJ Barraza.  The Otters went ahead 4-2 before Richard Castro and Alec Ceniceros laced back-to-back doubles in the fifth to score runs and a sac fly made it 5-4.  Unfortunately, the Otters got three in the seventh to grab the win.  Gabe Chavez went three-for-three at the plate and Sergio Rey had two hits with a double.  Ryan Kurtz and Austyn Coleman allowed no runs out of the bullpen.

The Coyotes (15-32, 12-30 CCAA) will wrap the season tomorrow with Senior Day at 11 am.  Live stats are on CSUSBathletics.com.
