SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes won their third-straight match on Friday afternoon at home over CSU Monterey Bay, 1-0.
 
The opportunistic Vidalia Abarca put a bouncing ball on goal in the 74^th minute from Kelly Kevershan for the game winner.  The teams both put four shots on goal in a game mostly played in the midfield.
 
Jessica Hernandez led CSUSB with two shots on goal and Carly Luna made four saves for her second 1-0 shutout win in the last three games.
 
"We wanted to stay aggressive and avoid overtime," Abarca said.  "Our goal is to keep winning and move higher in the table."
