LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes got their third-straight win and season sweep over Cal State LA on Thursday night, beating the Golden Eagles 63-58.

The Yotes built a lead in the third quarter they would hold onto to after a tied game at half.  Jasmine Sauser once again led with 18 points, hitting four threes.  Kayla Bibb added 14 points and 14 boards with a huge night.  Tehya Burroughs joined them in double figures with 10 points.  Nine different Yotes had boards, a category they dominated 46-33. 

CSULA led early in the second half, but two threes from Courtney Coleman gave the Yotes a six-point lead at the 6:24 mark.  The Coyotes led 47-43 after three.  The Golden Eagles again led early in the fourth quarter, but Sauser countered with a three and the Yotes never lost the lead again, sealing the game at the line.

"Tonight was a great CCAA road win," head coach Susan Crebbin said.  "We were a little flat offensively in the first half, but our defense allowed us to eventually find some hot hands. Jasmine Sauser was efficient once again, Kayla Bibb was outstanding on the offensive boards, and Courtney Coleman opened up the game with her shooting.  Tehya Burroughs supplied great energy as usual on both ends."

The Coyotes (7-8, 6-5) moved above .500 in conference play and will look for their fourth-straight CCAA win at CSU Dominguez Hills on Saturday at 1 pm.
