Game one
Gabe Chavez homered in the first inning, and
Jake Peloquin added a two-run shot in the second for the Coyotes, who totaled eight hits in the opener. SFSU utilized a five-run fourth and took command of the game. Chavez and
Kyle Csakan each had two hits.
Game two
Arnold struck out two, walked four and scattered 10 hits for the complete-game win. He improved to 6-1 with 115 pitches in the seven-inning victory. Chavez kept his momentum from game one going in the second with a three-run double to center in the second.
Erick Allegro connected on a solo shot in the third. Both
Tyler Robles and Allegro had two hits each.
