SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes had a rough second quarter and were not able to rebound in a 49-69 loss to Humboldt State on Saturday afternoon.

Kayla Bibb and Arianna Knox led the Yotes with 12 points each and Bibb grabbed nine rebounds.  Jasmine Sauser added eight rebounds as CSUSB shot 28.8 percent from the field while HSU shot 46.2 percent.  The Yotes struggled from three going four-of-20. 

The Coyotes remained close in the first quarter and only trailed 21-18 after one.  The second quarter got away from them though as HSU led 37-25 at half.  The Coyotes were unable to get the lead under 10 in the second half.

CSUSB did lead on the glass, 41-34, and scored 10 second-chance points on 21 offensive rebounds.  The Coyotes (2-4, 1-1 CCAA) have an exhibition game scheduled at the University of San Diego on December 10 at 5 pm.
