SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Coyotes held No. 10 UC San Diego at bay for 87 minutes on Friday afternoon, falling 1-0 on a looping Triton goal with three minutes left.
The Coyotes' defense held strong all match long against the former number one team in the nation, with keeper Carly Luna making five saves in the match. The best chance to score for CSUSB came in the 85th minute when Haidee Duran's free kick bounced off the keeper's arms momentarily.
