LA JOLLA (Nov. 30,2017) — Dorian Butler led four Coyotes in double figures with 17 points, but it wasn't enough in the Coyotes' loss to UC San Diego on Thursday night in CCAA play.

Butler was joined by T.A. Dixon and Blake McBride, who both had 12 points. Ajon Efferson followed with 10 for CSUSB, now 3-4, 1-2 CCAA.

UCSD outscored the Coyotes on turovers, 21-7 on 14 CSUSB miscues.
 
Tough break
CSUSB led 52-42 with 13:51 to go after Dixon's 3-pointer. But over the next four minutes, UCSD got back into the game, outscoring CSUSB 14-3. The Coyotes fought back and led 61-58 on McBride's three with 5:10 left. UCSD (4-3, 1-0) hit 7 of 8 free throws in the final 2:14.
