Difference maker
CSUSB led for more than 35 minutes in its seven-point victory. A 19-6 run that began with 7:55 left in the first half. McBride had seven points in that stretch and Dixon and Hawkins each had five.
Down the stretch
CSUSB led by as many as 14 (67-53) with 6:39 left in the game. HSU answered closed to within four (74-70) with 13 seconds left, but that was as close as the Lumberjacks got.
