SAN RAMON (June 27, 2016) — Cal State San Bernardino placed 15 student-athletes on the CCAA spring All-Academic teams with representatives on the Coyotes' softball, baseball, and women's track and field squads.
A combined total of 296 student-athletes were recognized by the CCAA.
For the Coyotes, the baseball squad led the way with seven earning awards. There were four Coyotes from each of the softball and track and field teams.
The CCAA recognizes individuals academically per-season for all CCAA sponsored sports, which include men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's golf, baseball, softball, and track and field. All individuals must meet the following criteria in order to earn all-academic honors.
1. Student-athletes shall be of sophomore athletic standing or higher, and may include graduate students.
2. Student-athletes must have a 3.3 cumulative GPA or better.
3. Student-athletes must have competed in a CCAA-sponsored sport in that season.
